Word and Its Leadership

The last half of the Sixteenth Year, I AM or EOM, marked the beginning of judgment in the world, or external domain. It is not that judgment has not been operating in certain ways at all times, but that there is a time of Universal judgment that relates to all. This judgment began in 1922 with those closest to the unfolding Principles and Laws of God, extending its activities among these for fourteen years. Fourteen years mark the seven and seven, the interior and exterior movement of the Divine Laws, comparable to the days of Genesis. Days type the movements of Divine Intelligence, but at the end of mortality, these have to deal with the dual nature, both as heaven and as earth, or as spirit and as body, therefore double in their action. The I AM Year begins with November Third of each regular calendar year. The first six months of a year pertain to an interior unfoldment and the last six months to the exterior proving up and harvest.This is reflected on the plane of the world in the calendar years, everybody expecting to take a fresh start from the first day of the New Year until sometime in July, when vacation marks the break in activity and prepares the way for the harvest that follows. The last half of the Sixteenth Year I AM marked the penetration of the external domain, for the two years following the fourteenth, when the within and the without of the Church side were completed, the Plan laid down its Laws to govern, but it takes two movements of the Creative Laws, typed by two, to permit their action to carry to the outer domain. Therefore what was inwardly establishing itself during the two years, the Fifteenth and the Sixteenth, began to project itself outwardly the last half of the sixteenth year, the outer domain pertaining to the race. It is during this time that we have seen world changes, reflecting and symbolizing the Purpose of the Plan of the Word, though this has not yet sufficiently extended itself to point the Way of the Divine Purpose in specific activities, generally.

Judgment and the Sign of the Son of Man

It was only a year on the seventeenth of November that the Sign of the Son of Man came, indicating Judgement and Universal Leadership pivoted to the consciousness of Christ, the Truth. The import of this sign has worked out, so far as the work of the School is concerned, for the last year has been one of active judgment, in Truth, in many directions. Also, for the first time in the history of the School, many women began to take exception to the Truth and its activities and to revile the appointed Messenger of Truth. There have always been a few women, who showed their ignorance in the presence of Truth, although many have thankfully received the wisdom and love of the Spirit, as emanated from the work of the School (to which this Universal work of Christ centers), but this last year has shown the uprising of the female spirit of the world, centered in women, agitating against the Light of Truth, which in relation to universal judgment is not a bad sign. Offences must come, but woe unto them by whom offences come, therefore those invoking judgment through their quickened hells, ought to look to their own salvation and not be so concerned about expressing their hells and darkness in the direction of Truth, since they should weep for themselves and not for one already approved in Truth. On the other hand, the awakened Womanhood proclaims Christ's presence in Woman, and establishes at circumference that already known at center. Since the Sign of the Son of Man came in feminine identity, in conformity to the law of polarity and balance, fulfilling the work of the Son in the identity of the Daughter, it is not startling that females of the world should begin to agitate against the Truth, and to revile and accuse the Daughter of the Word, this bringing their own femininity to judgment. Judgment begins first with the womanhood of the race, in inner ways, though this is counterparted by the racial judgment that levels down materiality and the men who have built it; both materiality and mortality making up the Babylon that is brought to remembrance of God for destruction at the second coming of Christ.

While the leveling of men occurred in 1929, the period of time since then has been more one of opportunity of growth through tribulation during a period of Probation, judgment always coming after opportunity of advancement has been presented by the action of the Divine Laws. The entrance of the Divine Laws in the world of effects levels down the materialism of the world, but also affords people opportunity to determine their developed characters, their intelligence and love, their sense of justice and right, and such other qualities that make for the nature of racial humanity, as an offset to the animality of nature that has so controlled material evolution. Hence, judgment enters through the introduction of the Law of Divine Love, this introduction occurring in January, 1937, it being the feminine pole of the Word that called into action again the Sign of the Son of Man as an evidence of the union of the Man with the Woman, in the Lord, or in the Laws of God to perform the racial universal work.

Judgment is a measuring of consciousness to definite Standards of Truth, proven by the Divine Laws in their own Way, this being the Way of Christ. These Standards have been agitated since 1922 and have been given opportunity since that time to prove themselves. This proof was offered with the movement of the Divine Love, it never moving in a consciousness that is not approved of God as the beloved of Itself. This proof came at a time when it seemed that all the work of Truth, done in service to the Cause of God and Humanity, was futile and without visible results, and when the writer, herself a functional point of the Divine Plan, was entirely cast down in the futility of serving God and Humanity, so severe and harsh had the opposition become. But at the point where the bestial man showed. his supreme authority, there was the point of his overthrow and the opening of the Divine Love; though it is not in the one functioning Truth and Love, that the bestial forces are opened but from the world-forces that are counterpartally positioned to try and to test the Standards and Principles of Truth and Love, from the initial movement of the Divine Plan. It is a case of Christ and Antichrist forces meeting in verbal combat, though this is only outward to the "War in Heaven" that attends the end of mortality, and which has been working out since November, 1922.

It does not matter that all the people do not know the Standards and Principles of Truth, which are also Life and Being, for they are all existent as forces of consciousness, having their existenc6 in the mind of the race that is the symbolical objectification of the Universal Mind. That the race mind is penetrated by the Qualities of the Universal Mind measures the race mind to the Standards upheld in gaining the Qualities of Truth, rendering to each one according to his or her works or development. All the roses do not need to be gathered in one place in order to judge them to a perfect Rose Standard, neither does all of consciousness need to be in the advancement of Truth to be judged. This principle is wrapped up in the fact.that one state of consciousness, judged to Truth, is judged on all planes of its advancement, therefore the judgment of one is the Standard of judgment for all; though the universalizing of the Qualities of Truth, through the crossing of Truth into the race, is essential to bring all to judgment. This is also attended by all the racial forces rising in opposition to Truth, in the prescribed manner of the Plan of the Divine Laws, by which all racial forces are brought to Judgment and accounting in one, this setting up the Law of judging all and bringing them to accounting. This is a mystical but actual proceeding, but known only to one through whom the Laws of the Plan enact themselves. The proceeding is not understood by these who are the offences in the Plan's outworking, even though they are used by which cosmic effects are produced, the cosmic effects issuing from Christ-Truth and not from the offenders or offences.

It is to say that the godly effect of the Cosmical Plan and Play of the forces of the Divine Laws, in the first coming of Christ, did not issue from Herod or Pilate, or from the soldiers, priests, money changers, Judas, Peter, or others involved in the projection of the Plan of the Divine Laws, but it issued from God, through Christ. Others were the offenders and the offences, which made possible the Plot of the Play, but the Play of the Divine Laws went out directly from Christ Consciousness in which it was pivoted, all forces and conditions in the race being affected according to their relation or lack of relation to the Plan of the Divine Laws. So it is today. The Play of the Divine Laws has re-enacted itself, using its present day Plot, and gathering to itself its supporters and defenders, as well as its opponents and offences, all serving the Cause, the former in Light and the latter in darkness. Even Judas served the Divine Plan in the outworking Plot, but not in anyway of which anyone would be proud, though it was an essential necessity toward crossing the Spirit of God, as Christ, crucified, into the race, that the race might be brought to judgment and accounting, according to the necessity of the Divine Laws at that time. The time of the movement of the Divine Laws calls for distinct expression of the Play and Plot, but the fundamental Principles and their effects are the same, that of declaring consciousness conformed or willing to conform to the Divine Laws and Plan, or unwilling to conform, and resistant to the unfolding Principles and Laws of Truth. Thus each ego, is made to give an account of himself or herself, both as to the good and the evil done in the flesh, by the developed intelligence and love being declared because of conditions instituted by the Divine Laws, that are used to try and to test the stated unfoldment of all.

The conditions used at the end of mortality, by which the progression of mortals is determined, are outwardly of a lower nature, and yet, inwardly, they are of more importance before the Divine Laws, because of the final proving up of advancement. Because the race is farther in material development than heretofore, the Divine Laws must drop to lower levels, to catch them in their net of forces and to determine the progression of the people. Yet, the unfoldment of the Divine Laws and the Truth reaches the heights at the end of mortality, even to Truth's capacity to see the Plan as it existed before the world was formed, this being also a means toward the overturning of mortality and the revelation of the scientific system of living to govern immortality that succeeds mortality's overthrow. The application of the Divine Laws at the end of mortality is such as to bring about the revelation of the next step of unfoldment for the race, as well as to uphold such Standards and Principles as have been proven of value in revealing the real nature of man. It is not a question of the Divine Laws acting according to the pleasure or desires of people, for only people who have died in self-desires and the pleasure of the self-will and love are opened to function the Divine Laws, and to reveal the Standards of attainment for all. It is so ridiculous and futile for people to take exception to the proven Standards of Truth because they do not like them or do not agree with the Truth, for such proceeding is equivalent to saying to God and Christ, "We do not like your method," since nothing of God and Christ is revealed to anyone clinging to personal sense and material beliefs and opinions. Whether the people like the Standards or not, they are set by the authority of God and Christ at the ends of cycles, and the whole race moves in the direction of their attainment, whether they will or not, suffering woes and tribulations only because they are disobedient in spirit to the Divine Intention and Plan. Some also suffer with Christ.

The Word's Relation to Womanhood

The Word's relation to Womanhood has always been a definite and specific Function. For this reason much is made of the Virgin Principle as the Motherhood of God, and the seat of the offspring of Christ. This has been personalized and made to appear ridiculous by religious leaders, who are not in the authority of the Word, or the Word in them. The Virgin Principle is the character of the Maternity in which the Word mothers itself and brings forth, through the conjoined relations of its Male-Female Pole, the Christ as Son. The Christ as Son is always the active factor of God's expression in consciousness. This is the first-born of every creature born into the consciousness of spiritual reality, though underlying the Son is very necessarily the Daughter Quality that is in identity the Mother God, even as the Son is the identification of the Father God nature. Because the Word became separated in its pole of expression, we have the two comings of Christ, the first centered to the Son, the second to the Daughter, the two as one however, representing the completion of Christ, as conceived in God-Mind and God-Love which is also the signal for the completion of a kind of a man, called mankind, and the establishment of immortality.

Immortality is the revelation of living men, born from the Function of Woman as God created her to be. This is not to say that women give birth to immortality, but that they give birth to Woman, who in turn gives birth to immortality. Yet, Woman as the Daughter Christ Principle is not born from women, as though that which is bound to the affections, lusts and loves of the mortal flesh can produce anything godly, but that Woman is gained through overcoming and mastering the forces to which women are bound, this being centrally the love of the flesh. It is the overthrow of the love of the flesh that permits the Love of God to be gained, by which Woman Principle of Christ is identified. The Woman Principle of Christ has a reactive effect upon the manhood of the race, at the end of mortality, to give them birth as alive men, counterparting the direct reaction to women of the Man Principle of Christ, at the first coming. This reaction produces from women the counterparting Christ Principle as Woman, this being the Bride of the Bridegroom, the Wife of the Lamb, through whose function immortality is given birth and the children of God are brought forth; this being a two-fold action of earth and heaven, and their spiritually produced fruits.

The unfolding womanhood of the race, that is growing in wisdom and love through overcoming and mastering the knowledge and love of the flesh, is as handmaidens to the Word in its identity as Woman, the action of God in these regenerated women bringing also to light the counterparting men who receive the direct action of Christ's second coming, for the virgins are made up of both men and women, who are restored to their male-female polarity and subject to the action of Divine Laws, toward their further unfoldment and service to God and humanity. However, it is the women who give birth to the race, therefore this is patterned after an action of the Divine Plan whereby Woman gives spiritual birth to man. This is to say that man does not give woman spiritual birth, but woman gives man spiritual birth, though on the material plane, that is reversed to the plane of the Spirit, men quicken women through sexual association, this quickening posing as life and love. Life and Love issue from Christ, when their reality is known, and this reality comes into action when the Woman Christ Principle, as Divine Love, quickens, the masculinity of the race that is ready for spiritual birth and redemption; the femininity of the race being awakened into capacity of Life and Love as the Woman Christ Principle identified, for they are quickened from Christ's first coming, while receptive males are awakened to Life and Love in Christ's second coming.

There would be no functioning of the Word, on the part of either man or woman, without the Mother Function of the Word, neither would there be any movement of God to outline Plans and planets without the Mother Function of Itself, in which God as Father acts. One can also say that there would be no race of men without the Function of Women in which men, as prospective fathers gestate their own developed intelligence and love, though material men have gestated out of material women a kind of a man, called mankind, and a kind of a world called mortality or materiality. It is not until the manhood of the race is controlled to the Divine Law, as it was in the first coming of Christ, that the race receives its incentive to become godly, this climaxing itself as the godly result in consciousness that permits the second coming of Christ in Woman Function. It is from the Woman Function that the greater works of God and Christ are expressed, these embracing the fulfillment of mortality and. the establishment of immortality as one action of the Divine Laws, also the revolution of the first-fruit of God and Christ as the children of God. The Father Function of the Word begets the children of God, but the Mother Function, as the Lamb's Wife, gives them form and identity.

Universal Leadership

The Universal leadership is in Woman, though Woman must be in Christ, when the time has come to overturn mortality with immortality and to establish a system of living in conformity with scientific Laws, Men are used to break up the old order and to promote the knowledge of the New Order, though this knowledge is not the fundamental truth that controls, but that reflected by the Truth in the direction of men. For this reason, many aspects of government arise at the time the Divine Laws are scientifically working out the fruit of the Divine Plan, but these only reflect the hope and desire for a new system of living at the time the old is dying down. Government has its science in the action of the Divine Laws in consciousness, but only one divinely governed can give emanation to scientific government, this being the Christ Consciousness of the cycle, in which the Divine Laws are functioned. The racial new things arising in connection with government are no more science than the many aspects of religion that arose the last century are the Truth, though both government and religion are given new turns and their old conditions broken up, when the Laws of God move to make known the fullness of the Divine Plan, which is the case at the end of mortality now working out.

Woman is the center of the Church, the-Spirit, though in that new thing of God, that comes into the earth, when man is encompassed by woman, it is quite possible that Woman assumes outwardly the leadership on the plane of State. That she does in Truth, in application of Divine Laws, is a proven fact, but it remains to be seen whether she is stood out on the plane of State in such a way as to represent the passing of the authority of the mortal world, centered to men, to the authority of Woman, by which immortality is brought to pass. Universal leadership is in Christ, the Truth, and where this reaches its apex, there is the controlling authority of God; but since God is Spirit, the result of God's action is spiritual, this making woman not only the center of the Church, but it makes her the Church in the reborn world. Let those who can comprehend, do so, and those who cannot, let them not even try to guess at the meaning. Truth is known, not thought into expression nor guessed at, the knowing being one with being. The being is the result of the enactment of Divine Principles and Laws that make themselves known through their life springing up, the life being one with wisdom and love: hence it is said of Christ, "I am the Truth, the Life and the Way." This is to say that Truth carries with it the Way of its unfoldment in the life, so that it is known because its action is experienced, spiritually and physically (but not materially; the material being the world that is outside the kingdom of Earth and heaven). However, the world as the materially developed forces of mortality is subjected to Truth, or Christ, this permitting Christ's Qualities and Power to govern the world of mortals, at the descent of Christ, in the Law of the Cross.

Universe means one turn, and pertains to all forces of consciousness being turned over as one, or at one time. This is the result of the action of Christ, when it is projected into the race, in the crossing of the divinely and humanly gained Qualities with the forces of the world, at Christ's coming. Universal leadership is always in Christ, but when Christ is in Woman and Woman in Christ, then that leadership issues from Woman. Then it is that the outer domain of consciousness stands in righteous relation to God's Plan, and the Principles and Laws of this Plan can be projected into the world. The result of this projection is the turnover of the forces of the world or their complete cessation. Because the world is in chaos, the opposite to cosmos, the intelligence, its transition is chaotic and in confusion, but in this darkness people grope for the light and indicate their willingness to go on by renewing hope, as well as by mastering the forces of darkness that beset them. The transition of those in the world of darkness is necessarily opposite to those in the light, yet this is not to say that anyone can be born into a New Order without the necessary pain attending the transition from mortality to immortality.

The spiritually progressing, who carry forward the light of mind and put on the Light of the Spirit, come first under the judgment and transition, because they are nearer the movement of Christ and the operation of the Divine Laws. "For the time is come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins first at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the.gospel of God? And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?" There is an order of unfoldment and fulfillment of the Divine Laws and their Plan, and for this reason the signs of the times may be read, as well as these signs be given from time to time by which the progress of the Plan's unfoldment can be discerned.

The ascension of women the last century on the plane of the church, or on the plane relating to the Spirit, was not a happenstance, and their development on the plane of state, in the business world, was spiritually important. Both of these necessities prepared them to complete the soul and body expressions of mortality, by which mind and spirit would be prepared to follow the leadership of Truth, by which a New Order in the Ages could be brought to pass. The obtaining of suffrage by women in the United States in the year 1920 was counterparted by the opening of the inner action of the Divine Laws in Woman, preparatory toward their external penetration of the world in 1922. While the action of Divine Laws is not controlled to Time, Time is a measure to men of their activity, they revealing certain aspects of their action at what we call stated times. The omnipresence of the action of the Divine Laws, while always present in ideal, is not present in fact until they act in the consciousness of man and the race and universe, and it is in the sense of this action that specific time is related to the inner Principles and Laws. It is in the Universal, rather than in the individual application of the Principles and Laws, that the factor of time enters, for this is the indication that what is called time is now brought under the control of the Creative Plan, though its forces are still permitted to fulfil themselves. This time of fulfillment is called the "Time of the end," but when it is completed we have the end of Time, and the establishment of the New Ord6r in the Ages, which is to be characterized as immortality to the race.

The World Controlled to God and Christ

Since God is the author of all, even the world having its impetus of formati6n from the movement of the Creative Laws, though involved in darkness as well as in light, it is not unreasonable to conclude that the world comes under the direct control of God and Christ at stated times. The race and the world are indirectly under the control of the Divine Laws and their Plan of unfoldment at all times, but it is only when the direct action of God and Christ penetrates the race that we see distinct and marked changes. Law governs the direct action of God and Christ. A Plan of God has gone out from the foundation of a planet and a race to inhabit it, embracing the goal of attainment as well as the way of that attainment. Consciousness is the means by which the Plan of God and its Laws are unfolding, therefore when it reaches the capacity to know what was introduced into it by God to be known, there is the direct action of God. The known of God is always Christ, the identification of the God-head, bodily, that is, in humanity. But to permit this identification, consciousness must have completed its cycle of unfoldment in the intelligence's and love of the flesh, and have subjected the worldly forces of both to the I, and in turn subjected the I to the Will of God, by which the I AM or Real State of being could be identified. Through this identification Christ works to make known the Plan of God and to establish such controlled consciousness in the life of that Plan. It is the life or living of the Plan of God and its Laws that projects the liveableness of the Plan toward the race, and it is this projection as Life, Love and Truth that causes that in the race opposed to these Qualities to be quickened for judgment and subsequent cessation.

The mind of the flesh is death, therefore the opposite of Life, hence the dying down of the mind of the flesh at the ascension of the Mind of Christ enthrones the Intelligence of God, the Word, by which it may speak its Plan for a further unfoldment of the race. It has taken a century to work out this capacity, it individually completing itself in 1922, at which time it opened its universal action to project the completed individual attainments into the race, as Standards of attainment for all. The love of the flesh is opposite to the Love of God, as Christ, therefore the necessity of overcoming the love of the flesh to gain the Love of God, as Christ, this being the keynote of turnover of all else, for all in the world has issued from the love of the world, centered to men and women. Since the Woman Principle is not without the Man, in the Lord, the gaining of the Love of God, as Christ, is not without the Wisdom, Wisdom being the Male Pole of the Word and the expression of the Divine Intelligence. Since all things of the world have issued from the love of the world, the control of the love of the world is the control of ill things in the world, though this is in universal aspect, and not the specific dealing with all forces, by which they are subjected to Truth. However, the all of forces is reduced to twelve factors, and the twelve controlled to seven, the seven to two, the two to One, and the One in turn controls all. The control of the forces of the world to God and Christ is scientific, and compatible with the provisions of the Divine Plan. Fortunately, one controlled in all forces to God and Christ is all of all controlled, though the stepping down, in the Law of the Cross of the One, is essential to bring all of all under direct control of God and Christ.

When the direct control of God and Christ has entered the world, all things undergo a change. Old things die out, break up, confusion characterizes the forces breaking up in chaos, a new spirit of the Church enters, to be later followed by the new spirit of State. The attempt of racial leaders to control the powers of the world, that are already controlled to God and Christ only makes a greater mess of worldly powers, for not anything works out as formerly, after all power is given to Christ, in heaven (unformed) and in earth (formed). For this reason the racial leaders have not been able to right conditions the last ten years, for they are in the midst of a dying cycle, without being the authenticated leaders to promote the new era.

However, all things work together for good to those who love God, and also those who love the good are upheld at the end of the age, though it is a time of trial and test for all that their developed intelligence and love may be proven. Those in the race who are not tempted by the evil, under stress of trial, and who uphold the supremacy of the good, qualify for potential immortality, while those who can receive the Light and Love of the Truth, as relating to Christ, the identified Word, are prepared to become the children of God, these two results indicating the fruit of earth and of heaven, respectively. However, it takes tribulation and judgment to bring forth these fruits, and those who would enter the New Order should be on the alert that they make themselves worthy to receive the fruits of their long travail in mortality. Individual responsibility toward measuring to the highest known intelligence and love, as well as willingness to further advance are still present, even though the universal transition rests upon the shoulders of Christ, who becomes the direct controller of all consciousness at the end of mortality, through the control of all in one.
